Who we are

Tri City Lunkers is a bass fishing club whose anchor is comaraderie.  We make a special effort to provide an atmosphere where friendship is more important than winning.  Indeed, if you become a long term member, it is very likely that among your list of "best friends", several will be from the club.

The foundation of all this is a sincere effort to make each member a better fisherman.  Secrets and new methods are shared.  Advise is freely given during tournament day.  We devote a portion of each monthly meeting to one member sharing something that they think gives them an advantage.  And we all learn. 

Please join us at one of our meetings.   We meet the first Wednesday of every month at Larry's Pizza in Fullerton.  Meetings start at 7:00 PM.  Tournaments are generally the second Saturday after our meeting.  Boaters and non boater of all skill levels are welcome.  You will enjoy the experience.

What We Do

We fish 12 tournaments a year, seven one day and five two day tournaments.  These two day tournaments allow us to travel to lakes like Alamo, Havasu, Naciamento, Lopez,  Cachuma and many others. Non boaters share expenses with the boaters.   Short of fishing from the bank, this is the most cost efficient way to enjoy our hobby.

 

Top Eight Tournament

After the sucess of the club top six tournament last year.  For the 07/08  season will be the addition of  the club top eight tournament.  This was done to include more members.  This event gives our members an incentive to fish as many tournaments as possible to qualify.

3rd  Ed Cusick

Well, if you have been following our race to be angler of the year things are changing again.  Victor is still leading, his margin has been cut a little bit.  Danny Payne is now in 2nd place and Ed Cusick has moved into third.  With 2 tournaments left the race is far from over.

 

 Don Perez with a 3lb 14 oz. largemouth at the April Alamo tournament.  It was 2nd big fish of the tournament.  Hank Walters had a 5 lb 4 oz beauty on Sunday morning
